If you were to watch this video without knowing who Zari is, I believe many would not be harsh in the way they ciritise! However if you know Zari and then watch Hotter Than Dem, you won’t help it but pull out your gun to finish her off! As for Judith Heard, I believe she would simply press the mute button and look on as Zari does her thing on video… and enjoy the experience!
Zari has one problem that could affect her meanderings on the music scene and it is not her awful voice, afterall many of our stars have dodgy voices. It is the way she has positioned herself, as some kind of boss lady; “rich”, with a garage full of expensive cars and endless parties at Govnur where the dress code is white!
Now that wouldn’t be a problem if you have already cultivated a name, but you can’t start flossing when you are simply an upstart with no hit on your hands! There you are inviting hatred and nugu from the public! Naye Zari do you have a manager? If you do, then please fire him for taking a dangerous route.
Straight to the video. Of course going with Ugandan standards, the video is okay! It has that va va voom going on; the Hummers and fake Louis vuitton bags and all! The location is an airport…which again emphasises the boss lady image. However instead of singing on the runaway, how about if she sung inside the plane being served up Champagne and Caviar! Now that is flossing.
Word to Zari – Sweetheart, if Sizzaman forged a career of sorts as a musician, heck you have a chance too! Don’t worry about the dodgy vocals, the Ugandan crowd isn’t that sophisticated to notice that! However, change your positioning; cut out the P. Diddy like image! Before P. Diddy became the flosser he is, dude was an acclaimed hit maker and talent spotter that to this day his talent and songs are still rocking in the clubs and radio stations. Please concentrate on the music…cut out the flossing!!
