What do you do?
I run my company, Arch-Su Design.
What does your company major in?
We deal mainly in drawings. Architectural designs, structural designs and construction. I want to extend and start managing buildings after supervising their construction. I also train people on how to earn out of this business, I train young engineers and I draw for other engineers who may not have time to draw.
What is your profession?
I’m both an architect and a civil engineer. I did a two year diploma in architecture and a three years degree in Civil Engineering both at Kyambogo university.
What kind of projects have you worked on?
Several projects. Blue Ocean estates in Lubowa, Celtel’s (now Airtel) Akright estate (I made the designs), a hotel in Sierra Leone and countless housing projects.
How do you charge?
For a small residential architectural and structural drawing I charge about Shs500,000 and above then big projects stretch to up to Shs20m.
What makes you proud of your enterprise?
Since I started over eight years ago, no one has asked me for my cv, I have one but my reputation overrides the need to present a cv. In life, you do something you feel capable of executing.
