Barbie inks SHS25m brand ambassodor contract

2011 was a big year for singer Bobi Wine and wife Barbara

Itungo Kyagulanyi aka Barbie; the couple walked down the

aisle at what turned out to be the wedding of the year. 2012 is

seemingly a better year for Barbie as a person. Just last

week, we told you Barbie’s book Memories of a Village Belle

was ready to hit the book stores.

But before she could launch the book at a ceremony slated

for sometime later this month, Barbie got another juicy deal.

She is the face of a new finance and construction firm called

Prism.

During an exclusive conversation shortly after she had inked

the deal, an excited Barbie revealed that she signed a

one-year deal with Prism financial and construction company

Ltd. “My photos and my name will be used to promote the firm

and all its products,” Barbie told us.

Barbie also disclosed that she received Shs25m for the deal

which will run till January next year. We later learnt that Prism

Financial and Construction Company Ltd is owned by the

same people who own Emin Pasha Hotel in Nakasero.

Congs Barbie!
