Over a year ago, Fun Factory comedian Hannington Bugingo grew from being just a comedian and acquired a more serious role on the creative team of Lowe Scanad, a regional advertising firm. Well, Bugingo seems to have put comedy aside and concentrated on doing his job to an extent that a few days ago, a new advertising agency called Metropolitan Republic tabled a more juicy deal for him.
Bugingo immediately resigned from Lowe Scanad and embraced the new offer with both hands. Metropolitan Republic is a South African based advertising agency that is set to open up offices in Kampala after landing a lucrative MTN contract.
Buju, as he is popularly known, flew to South Africa over the weekend and is undergoing training before he starts work in two weeks time. However, before he left, Bujju emphasised that he will always have time to act with Fun Factory after the two week long training session! Congs upon your new job Buju!
