The Tag Heuer Connected is based on Tag’s Carrera family of sporty watches. It has a vulcanised rubber strap, paired with a dial that has hints of the Calibre 1887 Chronograph. Visually, this gives the Connected at-a-glance recognisability, especially if one is a watch fan. The Tag shield motif emblazoned on the button is perhaps the most overt part of the branding. It has a 46mm diameter and there is no additional need for adornment.
This gadget is an Intel-powered watch with a dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z34XX processor inside with 1GB RAM and 4GB of storage. With any android phone it is snappy and responsive. It is also loaded with a range of sensors for motion, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but it does not offer a heart rate sensor or GPS, which some rival devices do. Apart from that, the other downside of this gadget is the pricetag. It costs Shs5.1m.
