THE KIMONO: This Japanese inspired top is a must-have.

Layering is the new styling trick in town.  I mean you can layer with everything from a denim shirt, a shrug to a kimono. So this week, the big fashion trend is the kimono. The kimono could also be a solution to those panty peeping crises that all women suffer from most of the time.
This garment is originally a Japanese traditional dress that has since evolved with the ever changing fashion trends and found itself as an all-round fashion piece. So while the Japanese wear this for traditional and important occasions, the fashionistas across the globe are wearing this piece over leather skinny pants, booty shorts and skinny jeans.
To wear your kimono, you will need a pair of skinny jeans or a tight midi skirt and pair this with a tank top, or even a cropped top. You can also wear it as a dress, with a pair of heels to match. The dress kimono comes off as a wrap dress, which is still a stylish way to pull off this look.
The kimono also fits in well if you are aiming at pulling on a boho-chic look.
This layering piece can be worn with prints, stripes, or in a neon colour, all depending on what look you want to achieve. You can also match this with a pair of ankle boots, or thigh length boots.
