Fashion tip: The mullet tops

fashion

The mullet tops: Hey ladies, here is a trend that doesn’t seem to be going away two years later. Whether it is to the pool party, picnic or the office, the mullet top will be a perfect catch.

The mullets, also known as the high-lows, were a big trend in 2014, and the 2016 version of the tops is quite the catch.
The mullets are what every girl needs to be wearing to work. Yes, they are that cool.
These tops are also easy to revolve around the bottoms in your wardrobe. For instance, you can wear the top with a pair of distressed skinny jeans for a catchy casual look. Then you can also add your mullet top to your Monday look by pairing it with a pair of wide legged pants and heels to complete.
This top is also ideal for a relaxed weekend look, if you are probably hanging out with the girls at the beach. You can wear it with a little mini, tights and even short shorts.
Ugandan fashion designer, Anita Beryl’s 2016 collection featured a mullet top in coloured prints. That particular piece can be worn over your bikini while you are wining down at a pool party with friends.
The trend is also synonymous in designs by Nigerian Fashion designer Toluwani Oyefuga of Wani Fuga.
The one thing to be cautious about when trying on this trend is to ensure that your bottom is as slim as possible, particularly around the waist and hips. This gives the mullet top the much-needed definition it needs to stand out.
With this top, you also have the liberty to choose what sleeves you go for, depending on your body type and preferences.
So if you are the kind that has been spending sleepless nights at the gym working on getting that washboard tummy, then this top is exactly what you need to show off those abs!
