WhatsApp Mania winner records first song

Elijah-2

When a singing competition dubbed WhatsApp mania was launched a few months ago by Vodafone, the winner was promised a cash prize and a recording deal. Fortunately, the promise seems not to have disappeared in thin air. As you read this, Elijah Kisakye is preparing to drop his first track after spending a month in Talent Africa studios. According to close sources, the song will be hitting radio airwaves next week and shortly he will go on to shoot a video with Sasha Vybz.

Aly Alibhai, the CEO Talent Africa, told us that Elijah was the right person to win the contract because he has the ability to sing and he lives for music. Alibhai also said many young people have talent but they don’t get a chance to put it out there. “Elijah got a chance and is now a star and we look forward to recording more hit songs with him”.

Well, if Elijah thinks he is already a star as Alibhai says, he should get an a.k.a already – Ely K, K-Ely, maybe?
Whatever he chooses to do, welcome to the music hustle Elijah and we wish you the best!
