Sudhir buys Shs600m Lexus

Despite being the wealthiest man in the region, Sudhir Ruparelia is not known to be in the fashion of showing off luxurious rides. Truth is, the tycoon always ships in his cars silently and if you are not lucky to catch some of them at his Kabira Country Club or Speke Resort Munyonyo, then you might never discover that he has more than his Range Rover Sport. But hey, the man turned 60 years just the other day, so he deserved a present befitting the milestone. And seems like Sudhir finally received his present! A few days ago, the tycoon unleashed a state-of-the-art Land Cruisier Lexus LX450d 2016 model, turning heads as he cruised on the new beast at Munyonyo at the weekend.

The car is one of the latest releases from Toyota and has so far been common in Eastern Europe and USA. A brand new Toyota Lexus LX450d 2016 model is believed to go for about $120,000 (about Shs408m), minus tax and freight costs. According to sources at URA, the car is said to be paying taxes between $50,000 and $60,000 (Shs170m- Shs204m). Sudhir seemed to enjoy every bit of his new baby. Well, at 60, and the hard work he has put in over the years, such a birthday present is deserving! Congs on your new ride Dr Sudhir!
