Sheila Gashumba to present Nigeria awards in the US

NTV teenage presenter, Sheila Gashumba’s dream is to be big, beyond our borders. And slowly but surely, her dreams are coming true as she is getting recognised around the continent. The latest on our desk is that she has been invited for the 10th annual Nigeria Entertainment Awards that will be held in New York, on September 6.
Gashumba will grace the stage and present one of the awards at the ceremony. She will also interview Nigerian stars such as D’Banj, Flavour, Davido, Wiz Kid and actors including David Oyelowo for her NTV The Beat, Exclusive Access segment.
The Nigerian awards will coincide with the Uganda Festival organised by the Uganda North American Association that also takes place the same weekend. Sheila has also been invited to attend the business expo of the festival, as a brand ambassador of several local brands and an entrepreneur to inspire fellow young people.
Way to go.

Patrick Kluivert was in the country with ex-FC Barcelona star Rayco Garcia and the two met President Yoweri Museveni.
The aim of bringing the FC Barcelona ex-players as well as the effort to fly in current stars Messi and Neymar Messi is to promote the country’s tourism. UTB believes that the involvement of Barcelona players will be a big boost to the tourism sector since the club boasts of billions of followers.
The visiting players will also play a game with the Uganda Cranes national team.
