Sebunjo works with Grammy Award winning producers

While many music lovers were tearing each other apart over the Mamas, Ugandan world music star Joel Sebunjo was in Los Angeles, working and enjoying the city.
In the past few weeks, Sebunjo has had the opportunity to rub shoulders with Grammy award winners and he also recorded in some of the world’s biggest studios. Sebunjo told us that he met world music composer and Grammy award winner Christopher Tin (pictured). He also met Bill Hare, another Grammy award winning producer.
After that, Sebunjo told us that Hare and Tin didn’t waste any time, “We hit the studio and Uganda and the world should await what is coming out of this creative encounter!“ Sebunjo told us.
Christopher Tin has engineered sound for global stars such as Pentatonix, Soweto gospel choir, Mariah Carey and many more.
Meanwhile, Sebunjo’s latest album I Speak Luganda, made it to the Africa review list of world music’s most influential magazine- Songlines!
