Salvado takes one man show to Kigali

When he quit his job as an engineer at MTN Uganda, one of the leading telecommunications in the land, many thought he was taking the jokes too far, but alas – Salvado was only clearing his way into the history of Ugandan entertainment. Did we say he is living proof that doing what you love is the easiest way to success?
That he has made it big in the comedy industry is an understatement. Shortly after his historical first One Man comedy show last year, Patrick Idringi, aka Salvado, announceed that he intended to spread the initiative across the continent.
But until we got calls from Kigali, we, just like several people out there, thought Salvado was cracking another wild joke.
But the man from Ombokolo was serious; the comic is set to hold his first edition of the Man from Ombokolo- one-man show African tour at Hotel Villa Portofino at the Kigali Golf Resort in Kigali, Rwanda tomorrow.
Salvado arrived in Kigali earlier this week with a six-man team to coordinate the entire event. The comedian said he will be taking the show to Nairobi, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, before he embarks on a world tour later in the year.
We hope our Kigali counterparts will send us highlights of the show.
