Miss Asia Pacific World Super Talent pageant does not really ring a bell to so many Ugandans’ ears! But two Ugandan ladies are set to be part of this year’s pageant to be held at Grand Ballroom of 63 City Tower Building Seoul, Korea on October 30.  Like we told you a few months ago, socialite Zarie Hussein was chosen to be an ambassador of the same. And a few months later, we can reliably reveal that South African based designer Stella Nankya of Star QT design label was chosen as the Ugandan representative.

Sometime last week, Nankya told us that she was making designs that she will showcase ahead of the event. “I’m designing gowns and other attires that will be part of my showcase in Korea.”

Nankya told us that if she wins at the pageant, she will have an opportunity to showcase her Star QT clothing line at several international fashion events.
She also told us that she intends to copy a few ideas and share with the organisers of beauty pageants like Miss Uganda back home and in South Africa. Raise the Ugandan flag high Stella!
