Radio & Weasel to headline Green Festival

It’s just a couple of weeks before the Superstar Green Festival. The 2015 edition of the festival is slated for August 23 at Kololo Airstrip. And besides playing in the numerous bouncing castles, swimming in the mobile pools and exhibiting different talents on stage, the children will have another aspect of the festival to look out for this time round.
We can reliably reveal that Radio & Weasel are the headliners of this year’s festival. Joseph Masembe, the My Kid is a superstar CEO aka Superstar General confirmed the news. “We are working with Radio & Weasel this year. They are not only going to headline the event by performing their great songs, but they are joining us on our primary goal of empowering the children to save the environment of our banana republic,” Masembe told us.
Masembe said Radio & Weasel are going to engage in different activities that will rotate around planting trees and encouraging children to plant trees. “We agreed that these great guys lead by example; so we expect to see Radio & Weasle help their children plant trees at their homes. Then we will move to schools doing the same and preaching the gospel of tree planting,” Masembe added.
He also told us that besides performing, Radio & Weasel will personally hand over tree seedlings to winners in different categories on the d-day.
