Radio and Weasel bag Shs150m for album launch

Over the weekend, singers Radio & Weasel enjoyed a good share of social media attacks after it was rumoured that their show in Dubai last week, was a flop. The singers came up in defence and responded to every bad comment, but it was evident the war was rather too big for them and a few of their loyal fans.
However, that does not mean Radio and Weasel are no longer Uganda’s dynamic duo. Heck no! Take this for example; just days after they returned home, the two bagged Shs100m from Ace Brands promoters as a deposit for rights to manage and organise the singers’ upcoming album launch.
Radio & Weasel will be holding their annual concert, dubbed Mwana Wabandi album launch concert on May 13 at Hotel Africana People Space.
It is the first time the duo are having their album concert managed by different promoters, after failing to agree with promoter Bobkins of Kibo media, who has been behind all the duo’s past annual concerts.
Well, word is that Ace Brands offered the duo up to Shs150m to manage the five editions of the Mwana Wabandi concerts that will include shows at Hotel Africana, Satelite Beach in Mukono, Resort Beach, Jinja and Mbarara.
