Patra falls in love with Afsana salon, records with Bobi Wine

Patra and BobiCome to think about it, Uganda or Kampala in particular must be a very amazing city especially in the view of Jamaican singers. During his visit last year, singer Busy Signal stayed back in Kampala for more than a week and even toured as far as Owino Market.
It was not any different for 90s dancehall star Patra, the Queen of the Park who was in Kampala until Tuesday morning. Patra came to perform at the Club Mega Fest that took place on September 20, but she only left 10 days later.
And while in Kampala, Patra recorded a duet with singer Bobi Wine. The song titled Burn Dem was recorded by a one Producer Herbert in Makindye and the two also shot the music video on Monday at Club Ambiance in Bakuli.
But before the video shoot, Patra had toured several areas of Kampala. Notably among the places she visited was Afsana’s Beauty Salon in Kabalagala.
We have learnt that Patra turned into a regular at the beauty spot as she visited it more than five times during her stay to have her signature braids styled.
She also purchased five pairs of shoes from the same spot at a whopping $800 (about Shs2m).
But she was not done yet, the Worker Man singer promised to partner with Afsana beauty salon to have the launch of her upcoming T-shirt line at the beauty spot in the nearby future.
“I really like the place, it’s spacious, it’s state of the art and the service is just awesome. I wanna have my next T-shirt line launched and distributed from here,” Patra said.
Nigerian singer Burna Boy also visited the salon and had facials and pedicure before and after the Mega Fest.
