Patoranking wants Dj Shiru to fly to Nigeria for video shoot

Nigerian star Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie aka Patoranking was in our dusty city last December. And while here, he fell in love with the way our very own 256 spin master- DJ Shiru did his thing. In his words, Dj Shiru told us that the Nigerian singer called him aside and asked if he could join his team “as his DJ”. “I was excited, but it is not easy coming from East Africa to go to Nigeria all the time for a gig – it would be very expensive, yet I am not about to relocate to Nigeria,” Shiru shared his response to Patoranking.
While we cannot verify Shiru’s claims, we at least witnessed Shiru spinning the discs for the Nigerian star as he performed at the Born to Win concert last December.
And away from the stage, Shiru and Patoranking hit the studios and recorded a song together; the song is titled Dance Well. However, since Patoranking had a busy schedule, the two didn’t make time to shoot a video for the song. But info on our desk indicates that Patoranking asked Shiru to fly to Nigeria to shoot a video for the song. When contacted, Shiru confirmed that he would fly to Nigeria for the shoot as well as further discuss the possibility of working with Patoranking on a long-term basis. All the best DJ Shiru!
