Uganda could have lost their title of East Africa’s top destination for world music superstars to Tanzania.

Hardly four years ago, Kampala would host around three superstars performing in just a year or even less but that is long gone and it is instead Tanzania enjoying that.
The latest arrival in Dar es Salaam is controversial female rapper Nicki Minaj, who is set to headline the annual Tanzania Fiesta next month.

Nicki, real name Onika Tanya Maraj, is expected to be supported by several stars from the East African region.

The Your Love singer, who has touched huge success in the music business and is also an extremely good performer, has already confirmed her presence at the Fiesta through a video promo.

The likes of Jay-Z, Beyonce, Loon, Rick Ross, Ja Rule, Lil’ Kim, Lil Bow Wow, T-Pain and Ludacris have graced the Tanzanian land skipping Uganda and Kenya.
All we can do now is look and feel envious, isn’t it?
