Nabakooba constructs mega pad in mityana

NabakoobaJudith Nabakoba recently got elevated to the rank of Assistant Commisioner of Police (ACP). She was instantly transferred from being the Police spokesperson to Deputy Director of the political commissariat in Uganda Police.

But even with a higher rank and a bigger office, Nabakooba feels she might be better off serving her people in her home area, in Mityana District. Word reaching us is that, Nabakooba has already set up structures that have ensured she keeps in touch with the people of Mityana. According to our sources, Nabakoba intensified her closeness to her people since last year and she drives there almost every weekend.

When contacted, Afande Nabakooba simply told us that she is ready to launch her political career and she is ready to answer the continuous pleas from the people of Mityana. “Several people have approached me and told me I am the right person to represent them, I think I should listen to them,” Nabakooba told us.
But away from political reasons, a source revealed that Nabakooba has frequented Bulera since last year because she is constructing a luxurious country home in her village.
“It’s a very big house, she has been constructing it since last year and it’s almost nearing completion,” the source revealed.

The source speculated that Nabakooba is very likely to live in the house when she officially kicks off her campaign for the post of Mityana Woman Member of Parliament.
But all is not glossy as yet, as Nabakooba will first have to beat competition from current Woman MP Sylvia Namabidde in the party primaries and in case she wins, she will have to beat other contestants from other political parties to the ballot in order to find her way to Parliament!
