Miss Uganda and Deceptions actor Hussein for Big Brother?

Big Brother Africa Season 9 was supposed to start this Sunday, but the Johannesburg house was gutted by fire, leading to postponment of the show.
Codenamed Big Brother Hotshots, this year’s competition promised housemates with hidden talents that adore the spotlight and will let nothing stand in the way of their pursuit of fame and fortune.
Some tabloids already speculated that Uganda is going to be represented by a Nigerian, Lawrence Okoronkwo who is behind the Muyenga based fashion house Renzioni Hill. Okoronkwo himself has been busy teasing the public on his Facebook page, with him hinting at representing Uganda. He wears a Uganda Cranes jersey in his current Facebook profile picture and he was also recently spotted at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, probably seeking a Ugandan passport, as Uganda currently allows dual citizenship.
But we have also learnt that Miss Uganda Stellah Nantumbwe finished among the top three finalists and is likely to represent us at the ninth edition of the continent’s biggest reality TV show. Deception actor Hussein Marijan (pictured below) was the other finalist for this year’s Big Brother Hotshots. Another lady only idenfied as Esther N, was also a finalist and she might also surprise us if she goes into the race for a whopping $300,000 (Shs780m).
When contacted, Multichoice Uganda publicist Tina Wamala denied any knowledge of who will represent Uganda. “What I can confirm is that Rwanda and Sierra Leone will not be taking part as earlier communicated,” she said.
Meanwhile we contacted Miss Uganda organiser Brenda Nanyonjo and she also said the current Miss Uganda cannot represent the country in the reality show, unless she has handed over her crown. However, following the fire incident, a new date of the start of the show is yet to be communicated.
