Maddox turns to Chameleone for musical comeback

Maddox

The last time he was in the news, was when he was thrown in jail over debts. Singer Maddox Sematimba has since come out of jail, but life still seems a hard nut for him to crack. We have bumped into Maddox a couple of times in the Kireka suburbs but going by his appearance and the people around him, he really needs divine intervention.

Maddox is famous for his Namagembe album that he launched at the then Nile Hotel Conference Centre, now Serena Hotel in the late 90s. He is the only artiste that has had Kabaka Ronald Mutebi and Nabagereka Sylvia Nagginda Luswata attend his concert.

But there might be a ray of hope for Maddox as the reggae singer recently approached Jose Chameleone and requested for the latter’s assistance towards his musical come back.

Sources within Leone Island informed us that Chameleone is set to record a collabo with Maddox and the two will hold a show together to raise funds for the faded singer.

Maddox had a booming music career back in Sweden but sources revealed that he was disorganised by matrimonial woes with his former Swede wife.

Info gathered indicates that Maddox’s former wife secured a court order that endorsed their divorce and granted her custody of their children. Maddox returned home penniless and life has not been any good for the past couple of years.
