Liquid Silk to expand to Acacia mall

In the wake of new malls opening up in our dusty town, many business people saw several business ideas that could be executed in these lavish structures. While banks, spas, restaurants and boutiques scampered for one-room space to rent, Elvis Sekyanzi and company, were looking for the biggest space on the malls. The Silk Events boss managed to get space at the Village Mall in Bugolobi where he opened up a new bar-Liquid Silk. And no, this is not an extension of Club Silk, but a different idea altogether.
The state of the art lounge got a financial boost from Johnnie Walker and it stands out as probably the most-sophisticated bar in Kampala at the moment. And the story doesn’t end yet; we have it on good authority that Sekyanzi and company are already in an expansion drive. According to reliable sources, Sekyanzi and his partners have already secured more space at the Acacia mall and construction of another branch of Liquid Silk are underway.
And just like the maiden Liquid Silk at the Village mall, this one is getting a financial boost from Johnnie Walker too.
The source told us that the Acacia Mall Liquid Silk is most likely to open doors to the public by end of next month!
Meanwhile, just like you the person reading this, so many people have been wondering how Sekyanzi and partners have been able to raise such funds to expand easily. Well, another source told us that Sekyanzi and his partners sold off a bigger percentage of Club Silk and decided to venture into bars as nightclub business was becoming more complex!
