Kenzo to play for Villa again

Have you listened to BET award winner Eddy Kenzo’s most recent release- Mbilo Mbilo? If you haven’t, then you better tune in to any radio station or TV channel to catch up with the track that is Kenzo’s upcoming concert title.
Kenzo’s Mbilo Mbilo concert is scheduled for launch on August 14 at Hotel Africana People’s Space. Some people think Mbilo Mbilo (Luganda for running fast), is connected to the singer’s fast rising star, but that’s their opinion, you will surely come up with your own once you listen.
But away from the launch, we have been reliably informed that Kenzo is undergoing vigorous soccer training sessions. The singer is planning a comeback to the sport he loves and was good at before he started music.
Kenzo will be returning to SC Villa, as one of the players in a testimonial match that is being organised to bid farewell to footie star Hakim Magumba.
The testimonial which will take place on August 22 at Nakivubo stadium will be a star-studded match. It will feature other former SC Villa stars such as Philip Ssozi, Hassan Mubiru, Ronald Mugabi, Edgar Watson; the Fufa, CEO and former Cranes skipper and Scotland’s Hearts FC player, David Obua.
Kenzo’s training sessions are to enable him hit two birds with one stone. “I will be extremely fit for my performance at the show and I will also be very fit to compete with those soccer stars, some of whom are my mentors,” he told us.
