Joe Kigozi quits NBS TV

News coming our way indicates that NBS TV chief Marketing officer Joe Kigozi has thrown in the towel. Reasons Kigozi, also a sports commentator for the past five years decided to call it a day at the Kamwokya-based station, remain scanty.
However, Kigozi told us that he quit to try his talents elsewhere; “I’m going for a bigger challenge. I like challenges,” Kigozi said.
We have learnt that Kigozi is set to hold the mantle as CEO of a new Buganda Kingdom TV station whose name remains under wraps until its inception.
Kigozi sounded quite upbeat about his new job as he promised to take the new station to greater heights.
“Over the years I have learnt so many things about TV in Uganda. I would like to thank my bosses at NBS for the opportunity. I am grateful because I go to my new job with a lot of experience yet with so many fresh ideas that will grow the station. But above all, I thank God, and I still kindly request for his guidance,” Kigozi said.
He added that the Buganda TV station will be unveiled anytime soon, but did not specify any particular date or month. All the best Kigozi.
