Fun Factory

Fun Factory

Fun Factory comedians will surely live to remember the year 2012. A few weeks back we told you that the comedy outfit’s U-Turn show had been voted as the second best locally produced show after NTV’S Akawungeezi 7pm news bulletin.

Well, NTV Uganda must have appreciated the comedians’ work the news is that towards the end of last week, NTV entered into a new partnership with Fun Factory. NTV will starting next month, for a period of twelve months be paying Fun Factory $7000 to air the U-Turn show. Fun Factory will earn $84000 (about Shs 220m) for the one year deal.

To celebrate the milestone, the comedians are planning a mega party at new hangout Asylum on Namugongo Road this Saturday.

Fun Factory”s Managing Director Hannington Bugingo confirmed the news and promised that more is yet to come; “Truth is we’re all excited and it’s evident that we can achieve more; thanks to Sqoop and all our fans out there. Thanks to NTV for appreciating our work,” Bujju said.
