Former Sqoop writer Rafsanjan, is new UBC TV spokesperson

When we told you that our Sqoop old boy Rafsanjan Abbey Tatya was back on UBC TV, we meant it.
Besides hosting the weekly Extreme Edge entertainment show on the station, Rafsanjan was this week appointed the new Public Relations Manager of the national broadcaster.
Raf, as he is commonly known, started work on the first working day of the New Year and he could not hide his excitement as he took to social media to thank God and his friends.
“Jan 4th and you get that letter,” Raf wrote on his Facebook page. “If you’re one of those who wished me a prosperous New Year, am glad to inform you that you are a successful magician. 2016 couldn’t have started better for me. New exciting challenge.”
The news came in less than a month since Raf returned on air with his entertainment talk show Extreme Edge.
So you can understand his excitement when he got a boardroom job at the oldest TV station in the country. And oh, we also understand when he calls it a “big challenge” because defending UBC is no easy job.
One thing we are sure of though, is that Raf is a longstanding media warrior and he will shine. Congs Rafshizzle!
