Former Obsessions dancer Macrine starts nursery school

Imagine this transition; from dancer to school owner! It is both shocking and quite interesting at the same time! But well, it is an exact case of wonders never ceasing!
Ladies and gentlemen, we introduce to you T-Mac Pre-School, an initiative of former Obsessions dancer cum Infinity Dancing group Creative Director Macrine Mudondo.
According to Macrine, the idea was inspired by her mother, Catherine Matovu, who recently retired from teaching at Lohana Academy.
“My mum taught me baby class at YMCA Nursery School, she then gave Almeida (Lohana proprietor) the idea of starting a pre-school at Lohana Academy which he accepted and they started from scratch. She has worked there for 10 years till she retired last month,” Macrine told us.
Macrine told us that although she looked at it as a business idea, she also always wanted her mother to be her own boss; “I feel satisfied that she has something she calls her own. She is strong and with her experience, no doubt she can ably offer the best support,” Macrine said.
T-Mac Pre-school is situated along Dove drive behind Metroplex shopping mall, in Naalya with schooling charges ranging from shs700,000 to Shs1m.
Macrine who is rumoured to be a top entertainment guru’s squeeze, told us that the money she used to start up the school came from her savings as well as sponsors – whom she refused to reveal.
All the best Macrine and your mummy!
