Fashion tip :Dressing for the red carpet

Red carpetThe Bullion movie premiere is on tomorrow at the Speke Resort Munyonyo.  Being a red carpet event, the other attention drawer aside from the movie will be the fashion.
This means you are going to go all out and dress up to your best.
While putting the memo into consideration,  here are a few tips that you could try out to come off with the right and still unique outfit.

The guys
The obvious choice here would be the tuxedo, or a suit, a sleek one at that. However, always strive to be different. You can decide to play around with your accessories to make your look different.
For instance, you can complete your suit by adding an African printed bow tie, to create a different touch to the look. This will set you apart in a more stylish way.
You could also choose to pair your tux with a pair of stylish loafers. This, however, means you will need to keep the hems of your pants a little higher, so that you are able to show off your shoes.
The don’ts here are T-shirts, washed out jeans and sandals. The memo will most probably read black tie or glamorous. So keep away from casual stuff. It would also look out of place to have on shorts. No matter how much glamour touch you add to them, shorts just have no place at a red carpet event like this one.

The ladies
It is very possible that you may turn up wearing a dress that was a similar choice for three other ladies at the event.  So create uniqueness for your look by having something tailored for you.
You can achieve this by picking out a print, or material that works well for you.
Also pick your accessories well. Pick out a box clutch or a little purse depending on what you are wearing.
The two piece could also work wonders for you. However to make it different, match it with elaborate accessories that will make it stand out.
Remember, the dress code is glamorous, so please keep the little trashy and tiny clothes as far away as possible.
