Dr Hilderman quits Golden Band

Only two years and four months in Golden Band, singing alongside Mesach Ssemakula, Stecia Mayanja and Ronald Mayinja among others, Dr Hilderman has finally called it quits and returned from where he started from.

The artiste with effect from Saturday is a solo artiste and no longer working with the band which also changed the name from Eagles Production after some of its pioneering members left and formed ‘The new eagles’ citing financial differences.

But this is not the reason Hilderman left Golden Production as he cited career growth to be the main reason behind his decision.

“I’m out of golden today the 1/9/2016. I thank golden team for giving me the Chance to Work with you for this period of 2yrs and Four months. It’s been a good learning experience working with you but I need to work towards my Career development which I can’t execute perfectly with the group. I will always be loyal to you as I carry on my new Transition.” He said.

Hilderman’s decision has been welcomed by many who had earlier thought that he wasn’t doing himself a favor joining the band which does totally different music from his especially after establishing himself as a solo and independent artiste.

The band through its lawyers also accepted the artiste’s resignation and also submitted a letter of approval to the general public.

Real names Hillary Innocent Kiyaga, Hilderman is famous for songs such as ‘Mazongoto’, ‘Amelia’ ‘Lydia’, ‘Mukama wali’ and ‘Campus girl’ among others.
