Douglas Lwanga resorts to regional parties

NTV the Beat presenter Douglas Lwanga will never run out of ideas. After noticing that his annual party which has been held four year in a row needs some alterations, he has decided to embark on regional parties before the main one at the end of the year.

The presenter has decided to also give chance to his upcountry fans who have been missing out on the fun for the last four encounters get a piece of what they were missing and on the 26th of this month, the first regional purple party will be in Jinja at club Velvet with Dj Shiru, Ziza Bafana and Mc Kats entertaining the audience for a fee of only 20k.

From Jinja, the event will then head to Mbarara at the Heat on the 6th of May with a different lineup of artistes before it goes to other regions like Mbale, Gulu and Masaka.

Speaking to us, Douglas Said that the move is to basically ensure that the purple party grows bigger and better every year. “Having started the purple party four years back, we have seen it grow every year. From Bulldog pub in Wandegeya for two years, we shifted to Club Venom and then to Lido beach. The crowd has kept on growing overtime and it’s to this effect that I have decided to at least make regional Purple party tours to enable upcountry fans catch up with what they were missing before the grand all VIP purple party in December.” He said.
