app : Spotify play

spot

Spotify is a free online music service on Google play and apple store that lets one play songs from a library of more than 20 million tracks, build playlists and get listening recommendations. An additional supported free listening option lets one play any artistes’ collection or playlist in shuffle mode but you cannot play a song on demand. For that the app user will have to upgrade to the $9.99 (Shs26,000) per month premium account. Not only does the premium brand give that benefit but also one is treated to commercial free listening, offline playback, unlimited song mixes, higher bit rate streams which means one listens to music at a faster speed online and more.
Spotify’s interface features a sleek dark coloured scheme and a panel driven layout that makes it easy to browse the various music genres from pop to Rn’B to rock among others. This app also provides a handful of niche stations. However, Spotify lacks the radio stations that are popular in Uganda.
Another highlight of this app is its discover tab, which avails one a search portal to find a lot of information about an artiste and his music, digging deep up to the artist’s Facebook page and other social media.
