Blankets & wine @ lugogo cricket oval
The 14th edition of Blankets and Wine is happening at Lugogo Cricket Oval with South African legendary musicians Mafikozolo slated to be the main performers. The day-out event will kick off at midday and will also see other Ugandan artistes such as Levixone, Qwela and Giovanni Kiyingi in action. Entrance is 100k.

Y plus beauty pageant @ Golf course hotel
The 3rd annual Y plus beauty pageant is happening tomorrow at Golf Course Hotel with tickets going for 50k and Shs1m for a table. The event is aimed at fighting stigma and discrimination of people living with HIV/Aids. Don’t miss showcases and performances from some of the leading artistes in Uganda.

Kaleke Kasome paint drive @ Mpigi
Celebrities Aziz Azion, Ray Signature, Van Data, B2C, Ziza Bafana and Sarah Zawedde together with Dembe Fm’s Bina Baby and others will tomorrow be involved in a painting drive at Mpigi Learning Centre in Nsamizi, Mpigi town. There will be games such as volleyball, swimming, bouncing castles, face painting and others. Bring a book, toys and anything that can improve the learning centre. Entrance is free and activities start from 9am till 6pm.

Club Dome @ Makerere University grounds
Artistes Sheebah and Maurice Kirya will perform today at Makerere University Impis grounds starting at 3pm alongside DJs Aludah, Slick-Stuart and Shiru during the Club Dome event. Entrance to the venue is free and other activities during the day will include cinema, studio, gaming and free beer.

Traditional dance @ National Theatre
Batalo East presents the Equation with traditional dance from eastern Uganda, ‘Nalufuka’, by Waiswa Shadrach. There will be video screening, all styles of dance jams, break dance, new style hip hop, Afro, house, Krumping, and experimental among others. Entrance is free, event starts at 3pm tomorrow.

Make Them Smile Charity Concert
The Make them Smile concert is happening tonight in Mutundwe to fundraise for land and build a model centre which will act as an incubator for young talents in the art industry. Tickets go for 20k General, 50k Silver and 100k Gold with a drink. Tables for families, companies, organisations, will go for 500k for a table of six, including a drink and a bite.


A night in Vegas @ Guvnor
There is a saying that ‘What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas’. This time round, Vegas has come to Uganda at Club Guvnor tonight. Do not miss poker games, blackjack, and poker among others. To catch this experience, all you need is just 30k and doors open at 9pm. Dress code is black and gold

Drums & drinks @ Embers bar

‘Waguan Boston kyabise’ @ Theatre Labonita
The Ebonies are back at Theatre Labonita this weekend with three shows tonight, tomorrow and on Sunday at 7pm. The group has been in the US and this is going to be the first time to stage the play at Labonita. Entrance is 25k, and 30k upstairs.

2Faced “Enkwe za Ssembuusi” @ Bat Valley theatre
The first annual Theatre charity event aimed at fundraising for children with leukemia (blood cancer) is happening tonight at Bat Valley Theatre with a play “Enkwe za Ssembuusi”. Come donate to the innocent little babies by fundraising and at the same time get entertained. There will be screening and donation of blood as well. Tickets are 10k.


Hike to sipi falls-Kapchorwa
