What business do you run?
Blaze Events and Media. We do events management as well as talent promotions and productions.

When did you start this business?
In 2008.

How much did you invest in Blaze and how much is the business worth?
I started with Shs500,000 and the business is now worth Shs32m.

What are the challenges you face in this kind of business?
My only challenge is tight competition.

And the benefits?
I’ve learnt to work with different kinds of people. Through this business, I’ve also learnt to relate more with customers.

Where is this business located?
It’s in Bweyogerere, Kileku Zone near Jokas Hotel.

How much do you bag in a good, and bad season?
I get Shs700,000 net profits in a good season and Shs200,000 in a bad season.

What are your charges?
For the sound equipment, Shs500,000 if you are within town and Shs700,000 three kilometres out of town.
