What is the name of your business?
Phinixx Fashionz

What do you deal in at Phinixx fashionz?
We sell ladies’ clothes, bags, shoes, accessories and so on. It’s basically a ladies’ designer shop.

When did you open up shop?
I started dealing in ladies clothes in 2011 and that is the time I opened up this business.

How much did you invest in this business?
I can’t mention figures but it wasn’t easy at all.

Why did you get involved in this kind of business?
It’s because of my love for fashion.

How much do you sell your products?
That depends on what the customer wants but my prices start from as low as Shs8,000.

How have you benefited from this business?
This business has helped me take care of my family. I pay school dues for my young sister and also look after myself.

What difficulties have you faced so far?
Because I deal in second hand clothes, I was affected by the Owino inferno a few months ago. We are now getting poor quality clothes.

Where is this business located?
At Grand Corner House, Level 7, shop number 517.
