What exactly do you do at Shades Tattoos?
What’s the name of your business?
I run a brand known as Twinkle

Why kind of business do you do?
I am passionate about entertainment so my endeavours revolve around it.

What exactly do you deal in?
We have core competence in talent booking and management, model casting and management, photography and videography, and general entertainment consultancy.

Where is this business located?
On Plot 175 Hoima Road Bakuli/Bukesa.

How much did you invest in this business?
I started it as a passion and a hobby, then slowly it turned into a money-making business. Basically I started with those two aspects as my capital.

But I can see a photo studio, computer and so on. Where did you get the money to start up this kind of business?
Like I said before, it started as a hobby and passion for developing talent then slowly through advice and the commission I earned from the artistes I managed, I started up the brand Twinkle.

How much is it worth now?
Without goodwill, I think way above Shs50m.

What are some of the challenges you face in this business?
Ugandans at large haven’t started recognising and appreciating services, they prefer tangible goods.

How have you benefited from this business so far?
I earn a living and I have made a career out of it.
