Fashion Tip: Slipper Loafers; casual or formal it’s your choice

Sometimes, it gets really hot and you cannot bear to have socks on throughout the day. However, you still want to step out in stylish steppers, but without having to wear socks. The secret is to invest in a few pairs of the slipper loafers. These Victorian-style shoes are back and here to stay. The beauty about these shoes is that they can pull off both a formal and casual look, for both men and women.

The slippers come in a wide range of colours, prints and embellishes. The most common ones are the velvet, coloured ones, and studded slippers.

To step out and be different, you can decide to complete your tuxedo look with a pair of black velvet covered slippers.

You can also chose to wear your slippers on a more casual jeans and T-shirt look, and complete this with a pair of studded slippers.

For the ladies, you have a wide range of style options to try out with these shoes. From the pleated skirt to cropped jeans and two-piece pants-and-coat look. For instance, you can wear your blue damaged jeans, with a vest and blazer, and then complete the look with a pair of statement animal printed slippers.

These slippers are great head turners, and so ensure that you make them the main focus your look. That is why it would be advisable that if you decide to wear pants, or jeans, ensure that they are cut from the ankle and not covering your slippers, so as to show them off.

Whichever way you choose to wear these shoes, beware that you should never, at any one point put them on with socks.
