Fashion tip : sheer and lace

You can show off some skin and still remain decent with these fabrics

Gone are the days when wearing sheer clothes meant coming off as indecent. The new lace clothing is not only a steady fashion staple but also elegant. One can wear lace, in many different ways: dressed down or dressed up. A lot of people think lace, particularly the shirts are provocative, but just like crop tops, you can make the lace work depending on how much skin you want to show or how comfortable you feel.

You can choose to wear your lace on tops, shorts, skirts, dresses and even jumpsuits. The colour choices are also vast and one has a wide range of options to choose from, the most prominent ones being black, orange, red and nude.

However, keep in mind that wearing lace on lace say lace shorts with a lace top, can come off as tasteless, so it would be wise to coordinate your lace with other clothing materials like cotton, satin, and wool. For instance you can choose to wear a woolen sweater or button down collar shirt over you little lace skirt. You can also choose to complete your shorts with a sheer lace top.

Keep in mind however that the key here is keeping your look decent, so in case the lace you are opting to wear is very sheer, make use of underwear like camisoles, and vests for a little modesty. However, if you choose to wear the sheer lace alone, and then opt for matching underwear, preferably the bra. Do not let the colour of your sheer top and bra clash.
Lace can also be incorporated in accessories like shoes, jewellery and bags.
