There are items every fashion conscious girl should have in their wardrobe and these boots are a must have.

It’s a new year, a chance for a fresh start. However certain things remain the same like your wardrobe, unless you burnt all your clothes at midnight on 31st. The need to wear those clothes and look good remains the same so this little piece continues.

That said on to the fashion item of the week, and that is none other than the lace up ankle boots. Are these shoes fashionable or what? If you haven’t gone out and gotten a pair, you don’t know what you are missing. For one, it is the one boot you can wear even in this super hot January weather without really suffering and without looking ridiculous. Also, they are really pretty, I know am ranting but that is one good-looking shoe. Not in the dainty way of a  slip on , or the fatal attraction way of those sky high  patent leather pumps, no, ankle boots  have an attractive  sturdiness, like the shoe that won’t let  you fall or ever wear out.
Okay I know I am gushing but it is because these boots are just the shoes everyone should go out and buy, in several colours. You can wear them with just about anything, skirt, dress, pants, shorts. Okay, maybe not a Gomesi or any traditional wear but pretty much anything else.

They are perfect with skinnies and a slouchy top or a dress top for a casual look. They can also work with short floral or printed dresses. Try the lace up ankle boots with shorts (fitted shorts with a turn up, not the super tight ones) with a flowy top (not a T-shirt).

They also work with those dresses you can wear to church or especially if they are peeptoe. And if you have a cardigan you want to work, then lace up ankle boots should be your partner in crime. Put the cardigan over a little dress and slap on the boots or over a skinnies and top ensemble and you are good to go.
