Fashion tip : Exclusive bags

Exclusive bag

Exclusive bag

Looking classy at a fraction of the actual price

I   believe the Hermes Birkin designer hand bag is the best thing to happen to the world of fashion in terms of bags, after the sling bag. The birkin bag can best be described as the holy grail of handbags. It oozes one thing: class!

This tasteful creation can be used for both the formal and casual look. It comes in a wide range of colours with the black, orange, blue denim, neon coloured and dark gold birkins standing out the most. One can therefore have a Birkin bag for each and every occasion.
The Birkin bag is a handbag by Hermès, handmade in leather and named after 70s and early 80s actress and singer Jane Birkin. The bag is a symbol of wealth due to its high price and elusiveness to the public. Its prices range from $9,000 to $150,000 (Shs23m to Shs390m). Costs escalate according to the type of materials. The bags are distributed to Hermès boutiques on unpredictable schedules and in limited quantities, creating scarcity and, intended or unintended, exclusivity.

But thanks to the Chinese and city traders who were recently on strike when government suggested that their goods would be subjected to inspection before importation, we can get look alikes of the bags ranging from Shs80,000 to Shs180,000.
With a few tips and guidelines, one can be able to rock this trendy and classy accessory, anywhere any time.

First and foremost, these bags come in different sizes so one should choose the right size to suit their body size. The bigger the body, the bigger the bag. The more petite you are, the  smaller the bag size.
Also, ensure that your bag blends in well with your attire. Here you could make use of colour blocking. For instance, you can spice up your deep blue dress with a bright orange birkin bag. You do not have to try so hard to match the bag with your outfit, but rather ensure that it blends in well.

Choose the right bag material for the right occasion. For instance, a crocodile skin birkin bag would best work in the office, while the leather material would do for a party. You can carry your birkin bag on any outfit, from skirts, jeans to dresses. The final look greatly depends on how you blend the bag type and colour into your outfit.
