Fashion Tip: Cropped Top; It’s not necessarily trashy

Cropped Top

In a rather conservative society like ours, a cropped top would be deemed very trashy, and indecent. However, this item is very trendy, and gives its wearer great sex appeal, coming off as very stylish, if worn with the right bottom, and accessories.

This top, that is meant to show off your midriff, may require you to have great confidence and the right poise to pull it off.

Wearing a cropped top means you have a lot of skin on show. So that is why it’s very important to choose your bottom carefully.

For instance, you are going to glamorous event, but you need to step out in a cropped top look, then it would be wise to pair your top with a knee length skirt, or maybe a pair of pants and complete the look with a jacket.

Alternatively, you could have on an all-black cropped top and leather knee length skirt look, and paired with killer heels.

Many people usually pair their cropped tops with booty shorts, or rather tiny little skirts. This look, however, may only work for a casual weekend like at the beach, or a teenager’s party.

Another way of wearing your cropped top is pairing it with a long maxi skirt, and finishing off the look with a pair of sandals.

The other important part of pulling off this look is the accessories. Choose these depending on the type of cropped top you are wearing. If it is an off shoulder cropped top, then invest in some chain necklaces. You could also accessorise with a chocker. You will also need a few sling bags, or envelope clutches, to complete your look.
