Fashion tip: collar necklaces, Make your top stand out

Collar necklaces

Collar necklaces

Plain clothing is now a thing of the past. Every clothing item in your wardrobe can be made more stylish with a few accessories. Take for instance the collar necklace. Forget the chocker, the collar necklace is the new neck accessory and has the power to transform a plain sweater or T-shirt into a very elegant and outstanding item.  Since these necklaces are designed to resemble collars, they give the illusion of a collar on a sweater, or shirt.

However, there are those that you can also wear over a collared shirt, to add more flair to the outfit.
Collar necklaces are available in a wide range of materials and patterns, from pearl and metallic, to gold coated, and glittery collar necks.  Whichever you decide to wear, ensure that it blends in well with the item you have chosen to wear with it.

The other way to apply this accessory on your outfit is by employing the colour blocking trick. For instance you can decide to spice up your blue chiffon top by throwing on a neon yellow or neon multi coloured collar necklace. This will definitely get you turning a few heads. You can also decide to wear this sleek accessory over a dress, ensuring that the necklace blends in well.
If you decide to be different, and wear your coloured collar necklace on a printed item, ensure that the prints are not too busy, and do not turn your outfit look bizarre. Remember the less prints on the outfit, the more chances of the necklace to blend in.
