Esther goes hair dressing

The rest of the world is in an Olympic frenzy and here at Sqoop 411 headquarters we want to hand out a few medals of our own. The person who certainly can’t miss out on the winners list is Esther Akankwasa.

She is the best candidate we have for a gold medal in the category of Master of Many Trades.

Our first time to see this city glamour girl was a few years back when she joined Obsessions. Her Obsessions’ tenure was short and she went on to join a girl-singing group Cyclone. When Cyclone was dissolved, Akankwasa became a full-time glamour girl and she even once surprised us by showing up with the President of UPC Mr Olara Otunu at a Cranes match in Namboole.

So you can imagine our shock when we stumbled upon her making people’s hair in a salon. Yes, she is a hairdresser at Beauty Line Salon in Kansanga.

We wanted to know if she had switched careers and the always smiley babe told us she owns the place.
