New movie featuring Bobi Wine premieres tomorrow night

bobi
Singer Bobi Wine’s acting abilities will be tested tomorrow as he features in another movie. The new movie titled Situka, is an inspirational story that features several names in the acting and film industry. Directed by Fun Factory stars Hannington Bugingo and Kwezi Kaganda, the movie features Bobi Wine, Hellen Lukoma, Michael Wawuyo, Simon Kalema, and Frobisher Lwanga. Mustaque Abdullah is the director of photography.
The movie centres on Muganga, the character played by Bobi, a university graduate who, unlike several of his peers that go job hunting, defies odds and starts a salon. Muganga hates politics, but his campus girlfriend Amanio (Hellen Lukoma), encouraged him and he eventually joins politics. He goes on to win the LC 3 seat. “It’s a movie based on day-to-day occurrences in our country. Bobi Wine outdid himself in this one. And all the actors and actresses prove that Uganda can go far in the movie business,” Bugingo told us. Situka will be premiered tomorrow at 8pm at an invites-only affair at the National Theatre
