The long awaited Hipipo music awards are taking place this Saturday at Kampala Serena Hotel but this time round, it would not only be artiste to be awarded but the lucky fan as well.

In a random draw to be held on the day of the event, one lucky fan will be walking away with a brand new convertible Peugeot 207.

The winner will be chosen from the most active people who actively took part in SMS voting since they started on the 27th of last month till the day of the event.

Meanwhile in a related development, Huawei has come on board to partner with HiPipo to honor the Ugandan Music fraternity by investing over 10,000USD worth prices and monitory support.

“Every winner will receive a Huawei P8 phone and other gift hampers during the night.” Said Allan Kyobe Kaggwa, the Public Relations Officer Huawei.

The winners of the Best Regional Song and Best Breakthrough artiste will get a major recording deal from a popular recording studio in the fourth edition of the prestigious HiPipo music awards.
