The music video : Otubatisa – Irene Ntale and Sheebah Karungi

mm

When spicy Ugandan music divas, Irene Ntale and Sheebah Karungi set out to work on a music project in July, fans could not wait to marvel at the works of this unpredictable duo. True to our expectations, Sheebah and Irene delivered that long-awaited music video.
Otubatisa is one that will be talked about by Ugandans for some time. From the way the duo brought out the amorously tough cops character to how they got lovey-dovey with the model in the video, one could see the chemistry between these two charming women.
In the Swangz Ave and TNS produced music video, Sheebah and Irene act the role of two women who have been frolicked by this artful player. To Irene, the player came as a corporate man who was very smart and classy. Irene sings about the way he seduced her shortly before she found out that he had another woman – read Sheebah.
Sheebah, while dancing, comes in with her sensual cop uniform and narrates how the player found her at the bar and seduced her, only to later read in the papers that he had another woman.

The plot is about the two women ganging up to dump the Casanova and putting him in his place (giving him a taste of his medicine). They are seen kidnapping him and later carrying out some bondage and domination stunts on him in a basement location.
Fashionwise, the cop uniforms bring out the two women’s bitone with full effect in the video. Though the storyline is modest, the magic with which these two execute it is incredible. It was impressive to see Irene pick a dance stroke or two from Sheebah, great improvement from her phony dances in her past videos.
