The music video : Mulimuki – Nutty Neithan ft Mary Bata

This is a combination that is bound to entertain you on any given day. Nutty Neithan is seriously funny (simply because it all comes off naturally and he struggles to contain it). Mary Bata is an all-time reminder that chubby girls are fun, jovial and very outgoing.

So together, they form an alliance that drives out all the boredom that one could have brought with them to watch this music video.
So what is the video all about? It is a depiction of the usual Kampala club scene on an average night. On one hand is Nutty Neithan posing his questions while Mary Bata composes awesome rebuttals. Funny how she peacocks in that maroon weave. You know that usual girl you cannot help but notice in a nightclub (the one that is exploding with life, and is a mother hen of sorts for her friends)?

The dances are the usual ones, even though synchronised to the moment, it is still the usual booty shakes. Maybe, the only semblance to dance choreography are the guy’s dances that are well cut to the chorus, as they move from side to side. And of course, not that the video plot is one to get you excited and eye-roving. It is not given much thought (not like the video director bothered). Perhaps, deep down, he knew that the characters he was dealing with could pull it off with their own might.

As the video comes to an end, one sobers up and asks the hard questions. For example, what is that one thing that will stay with the viewer beyond those few minutes? What is that unique selling point? What makes it different from another video in a club location? The answers are pretty depressing, and one would rather take a closed eye approach to these answers if the video is to be enjoyed without blemish.
