The ghostly superhero whose life was stolen saves humanity

For the while she is saving lives, Major is happy to be another hero, a human being who has the backs of others. She goes the distance to stop all sorts and characters of criminals because unlike the average guy, she is able to get into their minds and read their ill intentions.
Major is a rare kind of specie and definitely not human because she is cyber-enhanced, and the ideal, dependable soldier who is the source of a peace of mind for the neighbourhood in which she operates, perhaps Uganda would do with her services in wiping out terrorism threats.
She is super cool. Can you imagine she also has the ability to stop terrorists who have now taken their game to another level that they can hack into individual’s minds and take full control?
But unfortunately all this changes as she embarks on a new project, to stop another enemy of humanity. She finds out that she is a ghost in a shell of a human body.
This dampens her spirit and demoralises her after finding out her makers lied to her about being human. Major’s life was stolen and taken away. The movie is an adaptation of the Seinen Manga series which also have a computer game version. Its initial film version, of the same title, was released in 1989.
The movie is mainly set in the mid-21st century in the fictional Japanese city of Niihama. It is another of British director, Rupert Sanders’ works. He also directed another fictional work titled Snow White and the Huntsman, which is also his first feature film.
