In 2028, multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the centre of robot technology in the US. In other countries, their drones have been used by the military for years. This has earned a lot of money for OmniCorp.
With the money, they are now looking at spreading the use of their technologies to the home front in the US. One way they would like to spread their technology is through a good cop called Alex Murphy who has done his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit.

On one of his assignments, he is critically injured in a car bomb. His chance to walk again is to accept to be partly human and partly robot, thanks to OmniCorp’s remarkable science of robotics.

Murphy returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities. Of course there are some issues he will have to deal with since part of him is a regular man. The human side of Robocop is still hungering for justice and this is unknown to its makers.

Its makers, OmniCorp, are looking at the unique abilities of their creation, and soon they envision a Robocop in every city which means more money.
