If you are looking for some music in a movie, then Bollywood is a good option and Himmatwala is just about that, music, more music and a fusion of action. It is a love story with Bollywood stars Ajay Devgan and Tamannaah headlining the cast in this remake of the 1983 blockbuster by the same title.
It was one of the highest grossing movies of that year and was declared a “blockbuster” at box office. A blockbuster is something, such as a film or book that sustains widespread popularity and achieves enormous sales.
The storyline follows a simple plot of a school head who witnesses a murder of a man. The murderer is protected by a rich man who does everything to make sure he is set free. The rich man’s daughter is reported pregnant and has to get married to the man who is responsible. But the daughter is just as harsh as her father and teaches her husband the same traits. But her man has been a good man and whenever he does bad to people the weight of his actions betrays the goodness in him and slowly he tries to show this to his wife as a way of changing her. Will she change for good?
The first movie was directed by celebrated Bollywood director Raghavendra Rao but this time it is upcoming director Sajid Khan making amendments to the movie.
Bollywood movies are much about music and dance. One of the scores in the movie is titled Thank God It’s Friday, which was originally done by Alec R. Costandinos but performed by Sunidhi Chauhan and scored by Sachin-Jigar. The other songs have been scored by Sajid-Wajid.
