Indian movies are very good at portraying romance and they simply do not put out a good story; there is music to compliment the plot.
Ranbir Kapoor acts as Babli, a street smart car mechanic. Beyond fixing people’s cars, Babli is charming and lives life to the fullest.
He also runs an orphanage and he will do everything he can to keep it going. What’s more, he will do everything he can to feed the children in the orphanage.
This includes stealing people’s cars so he can sell them cheaply and get money to run the orphanage. He has no sense of right or wrong. One day he steals a car. He does not know it belongs to the girl he loves, Tara (Pallavi Sharda). The cops are within sight and chase him down.
Finally Babli realises that there is no right way of doing the wrong thing. He will have to battle his conscience, trying to figure out right from wrong and deciding whether to go on or not, when those around him question this change.
